Lillypad Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 8, 2026
Lillypad (lillypad.app) is operated by JARC Inc., an Ohio corporation. Questions about this policy or your data: contact@lillypad.app.
We wrote this in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask us.
The short version
We collect what we need to run Lillypad and nothing more. Your home’s data is private by default. We don’t sell your information, we don’t run ads, and cost information you record never appears on any shared surface. You can export everything you’ve put into Lillypad at any time, and you can delete your account yourself.
What we collect, and why
Your email address, when you ask us to send you your maintenance schedule or sign up for an account. We use it to send the emails you asked for and to run your account. Every email we send includes a working unsubscribe link.
Your home’s basic details — address, home age, home type, and zip code — to build a maintenance schedule that fits your house and climate. You enter these yourself; we don’t pull them from anywhere.
What you add to your account — tasks completed, projects, photos, notes on your home’s systems and appliances, and, if you choose to record them, project costs. Cost information is private to your household. It is never included in any shared or public surface, and our system is built so it can’t be.
Payment information, if you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We keep records of your subscription status and billing history.
Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use Lillypad (which pages are visited, whether the schedule generator gets completed). This is aggregate product data, not surveillance — we don’t use it to build advertising profiles, and we don’t run ads.
Who can see your data
Your household. People you invite to your household see the same home data you do. Invite people you trust.
Nobody else, by default. There is no public directory of homes on Lillypad. Your schedule, projects, photos, and history are visible only to your household unless a future sharing feature exists and you explicitly choose to use it — and even then, cost information stays out.
Service providers who run our infrastructure: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments), Google Analytics (usage measurement). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Legal requirements. We’ll disclose information if the law genuinely requires it, and only what’s required.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. There are no advertisers.
Your data is yours
Export anytime. One click in your account downloads everything you’ve put into Lillypad. No fee, no waiting period, no phone call.
Delete anytime. You can delete your account from your account page. Canceling a paid subscription does not delete your data — it downgrades you to the free tier with everything intact. Deletion is a separate, explicit choice, and it’s yours to make.
If Lillypad ever shuts down, we commit to giving every user notice and a full export window before anything is removed. This category has a painful history of companies deleting years of user records without warning. We will not do that.
Cookies
We use the cookies required to keep you signed in and the Google Analytics cookie described above. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children
Lillypad is a tool for homeowners and is not directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we’ll remove it.
For California residents
California law gives you specific rights over your personal information, including the right to know what we’ve collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale. We don’t sell personal information, so there’s nothing to opt out of — and the know and delete rights are already built into every account as the export and delete functions described above. To exercise them another way, email contact@lillypad.app.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in any way that matters, we’ll say so plainly — a note in the changelog and, for significant changes, an email — before the change takes effect. We won’t quietly swap terms underneath you.
